George Elliott
Mr. Elliott previously worked as the principal at Saint Patrick Catholic School for 21 years before retiring in 2019.  He is coming out of retirement to be the interim principal for this school year and is looking forward to reconnecting with the Saint Patrick family and community.  Mr. Elliott holds a B.A. in Education from Marshall University and a M.A. in Supervision and Administration from Virginia Tech.

Mr. Elliott and his wife Diane have been married for 35 years and have two children, both of whom are Saint Patrick graduates.  The Elliotts are very happy and excited to welcome their first grandchild, Liliana, who was born on August 2nd into their family.

This is Mrs. Dihlmann's second year as Administrative Assistant.  She previously worked as the preschool aid for 9 years.  She spent many years volunteering at St. Patrick School when her children were students. In her free time she enjoys reading, crafting, and spending time with her family.

Monique Donlon
This is Mrs. Donlon's second year as Admissions and Marketing Coordinator.  Previously she was a substitute teacher.  She holds a B.A. in English and French from Hood College.  Mrs. Donlon and her husband have four children, all of whom attend Saint Patrick Catholic School.  Mrs. Donlon loves spending time with her family and crafting.

Lisa Klinge
This is Mrs. Klinge's eleventh year at St. Pat's. Mrs. Klinge has previously taught Kindergarten at Saint Patrick School for 7 years and second grade for 8 years (4 in Spotsylvania County and 4 at St. Patrick School). She earned a B.A. in Social Work from Limestone College and a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Mary Washington. In her free time, Mrs. Klinge enjoys hiking and camping through National and State Parks with her husband and son.

Mary Jane Gowarty
Mrs. Gowarty joined our teaching team when her children started attending St. Patrick’s. Prior to that she was a school wide volunteer and was named Volunteer of the Year for her extensive contributions of time and energy. As teacher’s aide in Kindergarten, she has created many tools for the students and parents to help guide their educational success. She has been a Girl Scout Leader and also co-founded the Charitable Acts Club, where students worked on crafts projects that are blessed upon completion and given to others in need of special prayer.

Beth Lepp
This is Mrs. Lepp’s first year teaching at Saint Patrick School. She previously taught first and second grades in Stafford County for 15 years, where she also served as the school’s Reading Specialist. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Mary Washington and a Master of Education from the University of Virginia, with a focus in Reading Education. She and her husband were married at St. Patrick Church in 2004 and are happy to return to this growing community with their oldest son now in seventh grade and their youngest son in fourth grade, both of whom are now enrolled in Saint Patrick School. Mrs. Lepp enjoys reading, hiking, and taking day trips with the family. She looks forward to meeting her new students and all the families of St. Patrick.

1ST GRADE AIDE

Anne Wujick

Mrs. Wujick is excited to return to St. Patrick School as the aide in first grade, after previously working as an aide in St. Patrick’s pre-school program for two years. She has also substituted here in various grades for the last two years. She has three children, all of whom attended St. Patrick’s from pre-school through eighth grade. She has been a volunteer here in many capacities, including room mom, hot lunch committee and helping with the annual auction. Mrs. Wujick graduated from William and Mary and has a Masters of Social Work from the Virginia Commonwealth University. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, taking walks and spending time with her now college-aged children whenever they return home for a visit. Mrs. Wujick is really happy to be returning to St. Patrick School and working with our wonderful first graders!

Chanell Frey
This is Mrs. Frey’s 10th year teaching at St. Patrick School. She taught Spanish to K-8 for 8 years and is now the 2nd grade teacher . She had taught kindergarten, second, and third grade in the Stafford County Public School system for more than five years and two years as an ESL Second Grade Teacher in Miami, Florida. Mrs. Frey has a daughter in 7th grade and a son who just graduated from St. Patrick School. She has a B. A. in Elementary Education and a minor in World Languages. She is currently finishing her Masters Degree in Curriculum Planning and Instruction . Mrs. Frey enjoys going for long walks and loves to travel with her husband and children.

Katie Goriup
This is Mrs. Goriup's second year teaching at Saint Patrick Catholic School.  Mrs. Goriup has 17 years of teaching experience including teaching K-5 Spanish last year at Saint Patrick.  Her previous experience includes teaching third, fifth, and sixth grades in Fairfax County before moving to the Fredericksburg area.  Mrs. Goriup holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Virginia and a Master of Education Degree from George Mason University.  Mrs. Goriup enjoys spending time with her husband of 10 years and their son.  She is the proud parent of a current student of Saint Patrick Catholic School.  Mrs. Goriup is looking forward to teaching third grade at Saint Patrick.

Elizabeth Yorio
Mrs. Yorio is excited to be joining the  St. Patrick School family as the fourth grade teacher this year.  She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Pittsburgh and certifications in Physical and Earth Science. She has 17+ years experience teaching second, fifth, sixth and eighth grades.  Mrs. Yorio has been a parishioner at St. Matthew Church for 28 years, married for 37 years,  the mother of four children and grandmother of three beautiful  little girls.  She loves spending time with family and friends, gardening, and sewing.  She looks forward to meeting her new students and having a “stellar” year.

5TH GRADE Teacher

Michael Parker
Mr. Parker is excited to be back for his fifth year teaching at Saint Patrick School, and is looking forward to welcoming the 5th Grade students again this year!  Majoring in Animal Science with a Minor in Biology, Mr. Parker holds a Bachelor's Degree from Virginia Tech.  He has an Applied Science Degree in Medical Technology from J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College, and earned his teaching certification through Germanna Community College.  Mr. Parker has twin sons who attended St. Patrick for nine years and are currently in 11th Grade at Saint John Paul the Great High School.  Being faculty co-sponsor for the National Junior Honor Society and coordinator of the schoolwide Spelling Bee keeps Mr. Parker happily engaged with the students at school, while at home he enjoys family time, cooking, and playing with his dog Hopper.

Megan Eny
Megan is proud to be a St. Patrick School Alumnus. She has been teaching at St. Patrick’s for 15 years. Over the years she has taught in several grade levels. She is currently the 6th-grade Reading, English, Math, and homeroom teacher as well as 7th and 8th history and science. Megan graduated from Longwood University with her BA in Education. Mrs. Eny is happy to be part of the middle school team and enjoys working with the middle school students! She says they bring a smile to her face daily!

Jeanne Corvetti
Mrs. Corvetti is the 7th grade homeroom teacher and  truly enjoys teaching students in middle school. This is her sixth year at St. Patrick School. Mrs. Corvetti teaches reading, English and math to 7th graders, math and religion to 8th graders, and religion to 6th graders. She also serves as the co advisor for the National Junior Honor Society and the coordinator for the school's Altar Servers. Mrs. Corvetti has been a parishioner at Saint Patrick's for 19 years. She has been married for 38 years and has six sons. She holds a B.A. in Sociology and Elementary Education from Nazareth College of Rochester, NY, and an M.S. in Reading Education from Adelphi University, NY.

Lilly Cleary
Mrs. Cleary is the 8th Grade homeroom teacher and is happy to be working with the middle school students. She has been teaching at St. Patrick School since 1992 and has previously taught First Grade, Preschool, and Spanish K-8. Mrs. Cleary has been married for 36 years and has three children, all of whom are St. Patrick School alumni. She holds a B.A. in Education and an M.A. in Education with a specialization in testing and assessments. She is the PTO teacher liaison, testing coordinator, a DFE committee member, and co-director of the Middle School musicals.

Marianne Brokaw
This year will be Mrs. Brokaw’s first at St. Patrick School. She teaches sixth grade earth science and eighth grade physical science. Originally from Ohio, Mrs. Brokaw left the Buckeye state 37 years ago to follow her Marine Corps husband. After traveling the world, they made Virginia their permanent home in 2008. She and her husband have five adult children and ten grandchildren. After working as a stay-at-home mom for 18 years, Mrs. Brokaw returned to school earning her certificate and licensure in Practical Nursing. Mrs. Brokaw received her B.A. from the University of Mary Washington in 2019. She is very much looking forward to joining the St. Patrick School faculty.

Technology Teacher & Faculty Coach

Justine Lane
This is Mrs. Lane’s eleventh year teaching at St. Patrick School. She is the technology teacher and also serves as technology coach for the faculty. Mrs. Lane is the administrator for PowerSchool, Schoology, and the school's Google for Education account. She manages the website and assists with social media.  She also runs the Student Newspaper Club.  She is a Google Certified Educator. Mrs. Lane has also taught English and science to both middle school and 4th grade. Before teaching she had been the yearbook co-editor, a PTO Board member, and a substitute teacher. All three of her daughters had attended St. Patrick School from Pre-3 through 8th grade. She holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from West Virginia University. Mrs. Lane enjoys spending time with her girls and grandchildren, and crafting.

Rachel  Warnick
This is Mrs. Warnick's 6th year as the Music Teacher at St. Patrick School. She has taught Band for the past 9 years and co-directs the middle school musical and school Mass choir. She graduated from Towson University (Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education with a concentration in trumpet) and holds a Virginia Collegiate Professional Teaching License. Prior to teaching at St. Patrick's, she also taught high school music (concert band, marching band, jazz band, wind ensemble and percussion ensemble) in the Maryland public school system for two years. She is the proud parent of a St. Patrick School alumna and her remaining three children are students at St. Patrick’s. Mrs. Warnick loves sharing her passion for music with all of the students at St. Patrick's School!

SPANISH TEACHER K-8

Señorita Ariana

This is Ms. Ariana Quesada Navarro’s first year teaching at Saint Patrick Catholic School. She was born in Costa Rica and moved to the United States when she was seven. She attended a Bilingual Immersion School that supported her native language while transitioning into the English language. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish at a private all-girls school, Sweet Briar College. After graduating college, she accepted a job at a social service agency conducting home visits to families and their children throughout Northern Virginia. She primarily worked with families who spoke Spanish. She translated client documentation to support services around the community. After working at a social services agency, she started her M.Ed. Curriculum and Instruction., Early Childhood with a concentration in Diverse Learners at George Mason University. She worked as a teacher assistant at her former elementary school, supporting different grade levels in the Spanish language. She admired her former elementary teachers. During her junior year of college, she studied abroad in Seville, Spain.
She has a passion for language and culture. Her enthusiasm is to teach her students the importance of learning another language and traveling the world through interactive and hands-on lesson activities. Ms. Ariana Quesada Navarro loves to travel and listens to music. She enjoys traveling to Costa Rica to visit her extended family.

This is Mr. Misencik’s first year as a PE teacher. He has been a St. Patrick school parent for 10 years. He holds B.S. in Accounting from Wheeling Jesuit College. Mr. Misencik and his wife have one child attending St. Patrick Catholic School and one child attending St. Michael’s. Mr. Misencik enjoys going to the beach with his family and coaching and playing baseball with his sons.

Mrs. Gonzalez
Carla Gonzalez is serving her 11th year of teaching at Saint Patrick Catholic School. This year she is excited to be using both her passions in creating Art and Special Education. In 1990 she received a degree in Design from the Art Institute of Philadelphia. For 15 years she worked as an Interior Designer, Art Gallery manager and then owned her own Custom Frame Shop before being a stay at home mom. When her children went to school she did as well and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education/Elementary Education from Holy Family University in Philadelphia. In her free time she enjoys painting, reading, and spending time outdoors kayaking and gardening with her husband and sons.

Margaret McClay
Margaret McClay has been an active member of Saint Patrick School and Church since the very beginning. Since 1991 her many positions have included: Secretary, Preschool Aide, Kindergarten Aide, Extended Day Manager, PTO President, as well as teaching in the Religious Education classes. She was married to the late Deacon McClay and has three children, two of which graduated from Saint Patrick. Her daughter Sister Bernadette graduated from the first graduating class of Saint Patrick and currently resides in a monastery in Gower, Missouri. Also she works with her daughter Krissy in extended day. Who is the mother of her three granddaughters; all three have graduated from Saint Patrick School. In her spare time she thoroughly enjoys being outdoors and power walking.

Krissy Roberts
Krissy Roberts is a member of our extended day staff. This is her 10th year working in extended day. She has worked with children since 1998 in pre-schools and daycare. In 2000 she worked as an aide in kindergarten at St. Patrick and a substitute teacher for grades K -8.  Mrs. Roberts also volunteered for library duty while her children attended St. Patrick. Working with children has always been her passion as well as being a mother. she has been a member of the parish since 1989.

James Duffy
For many years Mr. Duffy has been the maintenance man, morning greeter, and Guardian Angel program coordinator for Saint Patrick School. He has quietly and respectfully provided food baskets, household supplies, and emergency funds for many families in need. Mr. Duffy assists St. Patrick School with just about anything we might need.
