GonzalezCarla Gonzalez: This is Mrs. Gonzalez’s sixth year as kindergarten teacher at St. Patrick. Mrs. Gonzalez is a recent graduate of Holy Family University in Philadelphia, PA with a dual degree in Elementary and Special Education. She taught Religious instruction at her parish in Philadelphia since 2007 and now at St. Patrick’s CCD program. Her first degree was from The Art Institute of Philadelphia. She worked as an Interior Designer and then owned a Custom Frame and Art Gallery.


Gowarty Mary Jane 9016 256331005Mary Jane Gowarty: This is Mrs. Gowarty’s 13th year as the kindergarten aide. Prior to joining our staff, Mrs. Gowarty was named Volunteer of the Year in recognition of her extensive volunteer work at our school. She has been a Girl Scout Leader and also co-founded the Charitable Acts Club, where students worked on crafts projects that are blessed upon completion and given to others in need of special prayer.


Cleary Lilliana 9003 256331098Lilly Cleary:  Mrs. Cleary teaches first grade. This is her twenty-sixth year of teaching at Saint Patrick School. Mrs. Cleary has previously taught Preschool; Middle School Language Arts, Math, and Religion; and Spanish K-8. Mrs. Cleary has been married for 31 years and has 3 children, all of whom are St. Pat’s alumni. She is the testing coordinator of the school, co-sponsor of the National Junior Honor Society, and has enjoyed creating the yearbook with Mrs. Eny for the last few years.


Dort Tisha 9006 256331097Missie Dort:  Mrs. Dort is the first grade aide for Saint Patrick School and this is her 17th year working at our school.  She is co-sponsor of the National Junior Honor Society and an advisor with the Student Government. Prior to joining the First Grade classroom, Mrs. Dort worked in Saint Patrick School’s Preschool.


Klinge Lisa 9013 264791252 Lisa Klinge: This is Mrs. Klinge’s third year teaching second grade at  Saint Patrick School. Mrs. Klinge has previously taught Kindergarten at Saint Patrick School for 5 years and second grade for 4 years in Spotsylvania County. Annette Talsma:  Mrs. Talsma has been teaching third grade at Saint Patrick School for 16 years. She is currently the PTO faculty representative for the school.  She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of South Dakota and a graduate degree in Elementary Education from the Mary Washington College for Graduate Studies.


Eny Megan 9010 256331010Megan Eny:  Megan is proud to be a St. Patrick School Alumnus. She has been teaching at St. Patrick’s for 11 years. This is her 2nd year of teaching 4th grade after 9 years teaching middle school.  Megan graduated from Longwood University with her BA in Education. Mrs. Eny’s website is available here: mrseny.weebly.com

Debbie Fregoso: 

Mrs. Fregoso is in her 7th year of teaching at St. Patrick. After teaching 2nd grade for  5 years, she is now  teaching 5th  grade. Mrs. Fregoso coordinates Junior Achievement. She and Mrs. Lane run the school’s newspaper club. Prior to teaching full time she was a substitute teacher for two years. She earned a B.S. in Elementary Education from Old Dominion University.


Michael Parker:

Mr. Parker is serving as the 4th Grade Science teacher,  leads the 7th & 8th Grade PE classes, and helps with Kindergarten PE.  Covering all grade levels, Mr. Parker has been acting as a substitute teacher for Saint Patrick School for the past 2 years — a position he will continue to hold this year as well.  Mr. Parker holds a B.S. Degree from Virginia Tech, Majoring in Animal Science with a Minor in Biology.  In addition, he has an Applied Science Degree in Medical Technology from J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College.
